Changing License Types During the License Period
Upgrade from Lite version to Pro version
Upgrades from the Lite version to the Pro version are available within the license period. The fee will be calculated as follows:
(Remaining months ÷ total months [12 for annual subscription]) × Pro version price – original purchase price. Any amount less than 100 yen will be rounded down.
Downgrade from Pro version to Lite version
Downgrade from Pro version to Lite version is not allowed.
Switching to Perpetual License
Switching to a perpetual license is not available during the subscription license period.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital products, returns and refunds are not accepted.
Early Termination
No refunds or returns will be provided in case of early termination.
Cancellation Conditions
Orders may be canceled only before the license start date and before payment has been made.
Perpetual License Start Date
The start date of the license period stated on the license certificate.
Support During the Perpetual License Period
For new perpetual license purchases, one year of support is provided, plus a 3-month grace period for renewal.
During the support period, updates to the latest version are available at no extra cost.
After the support period ends, software can continue to be used, but updates will no longer be available.
Support period extensions are available with payment of maintenance fees during the support period or grace period. The extension is one year from the original support end date.
Handling Outside the Perpetual License Support Period
If the maintenance extension is requested after the grace period, the extended support period will start from the requested date. The maintenance fee will be double the fee charged during the support or grace period.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital products, returns and refunds are not accepted.
However, customers who purchased a subscription version before the release of the perpetual version (before March 31, 2025) may be eligible for refunds. Please contact DeepForest Technologies for details.
Early Termination
No refunds or returns will be provided after payment is completed.

Order Confirmation
Order confirmation will be conducted via email. To facilitate smooth processing, please include the product type, quantity, start date, and email address used for DF account registration.
Delivery Timeline
Orders placed via email will be processed within 3 to 5 business days. License certificates will usually be sent within one week.
Delivery Method
License certificates, including product name, service type, validity period, and license number, will be sent via email along with a delivery note.
Invoicing
Invoices will be sent via email along with the license certificate and delivery note.
Payment Method & Deadline
Payments are accepted via bank transfer. If you wish to use other payment methods, please contact us.
Please complete the bank transfer by the payment due date indicated on the invoice. Bank transfer fees are the customer’s responsibility.
Late Payment
In case of late payment, a penalty interest of 14.6% per annum will be charged.

Forestry Businesses
Private companies engaged in afforestation or logging.
Forestry cooperatives established under the Forestry Cooperative Act.
Individual forest owners managing 1 ha or more.
National, prefectural, municipal organizations promoting forestry (excluding educational/research institutions).
Forestry Agency and local public entities.
Educational/Research Institutions
Higher education institutions (universities, professional universities, junior colleges, colleges of technology, etc.).
Inter-university research institutions.
Academic research organizations established by local governments or designated by the Minister of Education.
National University Finance & Management Centers and equivalent academic institutions.
If there is no clear applicable category or if multiple categories apply, the company will determine a reasonable price.
When overseas corporations use the software outside Japan
Overseas pricing applies.
When overseas corporations’ domestic branches use the software within Japan
Domestic pricing applies.
When domestic corporations use the software outside Japan
Domestic pricing applies.
When domestic corporations’ overseas branches use the software outside Japan

Tax Treatment for Electronic Services Provided to Overseas Corporations
When purchasing, please provide your VAT/GST registration number. Reverse charge will be applied.
