Forest Analysis Seminar Held in Bangkok, Thailand

DeepForest Technologies Co., Ltd. held a seminar on forest analysis using drone and AI technologies in Bangkok, Thailand.
On the day of the seminar, more than 30 participants from various sectors—including government agencies, research institutions, and private companies—attended the event. During the seminar, we introduced analysis case studies based on drone data and field survey data collected in Thailand, using our proprietary forest analysis software, “DF Scanner”. We presented concrete analysis results and their potential applications, including tree-level visualization of forest structure, tree height estimation, and AI-based Thai-tree species classification.

In addition, the drone survey and field data collection in Thailand were conducted with the support of The Siam Cement Group Public Company Ltd. (SCG), enabling us to share analysis results based on actual forest data. The seminar also featured active discussions on challenges and needs related to forest management and carbon credit development in Thailand, and we received valuable feedback on our technology.

Going forward, DeepForest Technologies will continue to promote the visualization of the true value of forests in Thailand through forest DX technologies and contribute to accelerating sustainable forest conservation and utilization.
Finally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to SCG, Hitachi, Ltd., Hitachi Systems, Ltd., and all related parties for their support in organizing this seminar.
