PoC for planted-tree monitoring in Mongolia

In Mongolia, a government-led “Billion Trees” project to plant one billion trees is underway as part of the country’s efforts to combat climate change.
To help monitor the condition of the planted trees, we carried out a proof-of-concept (PoC) using drone-based monitoring and exchanged views with officials from the Ministry of Environment and members of the project team.
We will continue to bring our technology into practical use overseas as well, contributing to climate action and forest conservation.
