DeepForest Technologies Co., Ltd. Signs Memorandum of Understanding with the Mie District Forest Office for Joint Research Utilizing AI Analysis Technologies

On November 19, 2025, DeepForest Technologies Co., Ltd. (“DeepForest”) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on “Joint Research for the Utilization of AI Analysis Technologies Using Drone Imagery to Improve the Accuracy of Forest Survey Ledger Data” with the Mie District Forest Office of the Kinki-Chugoku Regional Forest Office, Forestry Agency (“Mie District Forest Office”).

Under this joint research initiative, DeepForest and the Mie District Forest Office will examine the potential of combining high-precision drone imagery with advanced AI analysis technologies to enhance the accuracy of forest survey ledger data and to enable early detection of damaged trees, including those affected by pine wilt disease.

Through this collaboration, DeepForest aims to promote more efficient and sophisticated forest management. Looking ahead, DeepForest intends to expand these efforts nationwide, contributing to forest conservation as well as the sustainable development and revitalization of the forestry industry across Japan.
